In a remarkable success for Taiwan's pork industry, the iconic aged pork loin, symbolic of the country's premium pork products, has made an impressive debut in the Japanese market. This historic achievement has been met with an overwhelmingly positive response from a diverse spectrum of consumers.
Following 23 years of dedicated efforts, Taiwan achieved official recognition from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) as a “Non-Vaccination Zone for Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD).” This acknowledgment positions Taiwan as FMD-free without vaccination, facilitating its global export market expansion.
Under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture of Taiwan and the Taiwan Premium Agricultural Products Development Institute, our company curated the enchanting "Taiwanese Pork Culinary Experience Unveiled in Japan." This visionary initiative brought forth 5,300 portions of Taiwan's classic aged pork loin, meticulously transformed into delightful Taiwan-style pork chop bento, showcasing the pinnacle of culinary craftsmanship exported to Japan.
Notably, 5,000 portions found their way to 38 stores under the esteemed Keikyu STORE brand, presenting an opportunity for discerning Japanese consumers to indulge in the exceptional flavors of Taiwanese pork. Further showcasing Taiwan's dedication to social responsibility, 300 complimentary portions were distributed to three “Children's Cafeterias" in Tokyo and Kanagawa, receiving widespread appreciation for this compassionate initiative.
The triumphant introduction of Taiwan's pork chop bento into the Japanese market signifies a global milestone for Taiwan's agriculture, marking a significant advancement in the friendly exchanges between Taiwan and Japan.
